NASKO OIL FENCES
CONSTRUCTION |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Solid buoyant system composed of buoyant oil-resisant styrene float of foldable segments. Same quality fabric is used for underwater wall, ballasted with lead weight at the lower edge to remain substantially stiff and lead ingots are attached from outside for vertical buoyant stability. Tensile line of minimal stretching polypropylene rope is used with "D" shackles fixed at the end of the rope. The connecting parts are specially designed dual-layered fastner system to guarantee against seepage. |
CHARACTERISTICS |
||||
●
OIL-RESISTANT
- WATER-PROOF |
||||
Canvases used for buoyant body and underwater barrier (skirt) is of light weight and of strong fabric most suited for oil fence usage. There is no effect from changing weather conditions, and it excels as oil-resistant and is most durable material.
●
EASY
TO HANDLE |
||||
Light and easy to carry, and segmented at 1 metre length, it is not bulky and can be readily folded or simply spread out.
●
LIGHT
IN WEIGHT |
||||
Canvas is used for buoyant body and for the skirt, and oil-resistant buoyant styrene for the floating body, which makes it light in weight and easy to handle and carry.
●
TENSILE
STRENGTH ALONG THE EXTENDED LINE |
||||
Two main ropes threaded on both sides of the skirt just under the buoyant body keep the force in the direction of the extended line from having direct effect on the fabric of body or connecting parts.
●
EXCELLENT
IN RIDING WAVES |
||||
Cylindrically shaped buoyant segments are effective in riding the waves, and the height above the water is always stabilized and feced to avoid any overspill, even in inclement weather.
●
ANTI-EXPLOSION
SYSTEM |
